Despite the efforts of over 415 local Westfield residents to stop the parking lot plans for Greyhound Pass, Westfield Town Council, including our local representative & VF resident Bob Horkay, voted to OK the project. The local opposition, self named "The Friends of Greyhound Pass" will remain a watchdog for this area working on several traffic calming methods now that the parking lot project is a done deal.

Efforts to slow traffic and reduce cut-through drivers on Greyhound Pass ( a residential street) will continue. In fact, look for temporary traffic calming efforts starting this Spring to be installed and monitored by Westfield Public Works. Remember: the speed limit is 25MPH on Greyhound Pass and Adios Pass. Village Farms residents, please log-on to our resident-only site and comment on our BLOG, The Village Voice, if you have an opinion on these efforts.
